Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SILEASY LLC collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information through the Sileasy website, Sileasy applications for Shopify merchants, and related support services.

Effective Date: July 30, 2026 Last Updated: August 21, 2026 Company: SILEASY LLC

One policy for Sileasy This policy covers the Sileasy website and every Sileasy application that expressly links to this page.

No sale of personal information Sileasy does not sell or rent merchant or personal information under its current practices.

Important scope notice This policy applies only to Sileasy products and services that identify SILEASY LLC and link to this page. Before a future Sileasy application materially changes the categories of information described here, this policy will be updated or supplemented.

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • The Sileasy website.
  • Sileasy applications for Shopify merchants that expressly link to this Privacy Policy.
  • Sileasy Brands.
  • Sileasy Stock Flow.
  • Future Sileasy applications and services that expressly identify this policy as their privacy notice.
  • Support, privacy, legal, security, product-testing, and business communications sent to Sileasy.

This Privacy Policy does not govern:

  • Shopify’s own services, websites, APIs, billing systems, or privacy practices.
  • A merchant’s Shopify store or the merchant’s own handling of personal information.
  • Third-party websites, applications, themes, platforms, or services not controlled by Sileasy.
  • Merchant-configured links or destinations that lead to third-party websites.

3. Our Role

Depending on the context, Sileasy may act in different privacy roles.

For website visitors, support contacts, security researchers, and business communications, Sileasy generally determines why and how the relevant personal information is processed.

When a Sileasy App processes Shopify store information solely to provide functionality selected by a merchant, Sileasy generally acts as a service provider or processor on behalf of that merchant.

Sileasy may act independently for limited processing necessary to:

  • Authenticate and secure the Services.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
  • Verify Shopify App Pricing subscriptions and plan eligibility.
  • Provide merchant support.
  • Maintain business, accounting, tax, and legal records.
  • Respond to legal, regulatory, and verified privacy requests.
  • Protect the rights and security of Sileasy, merchants, Shopify, and third parties.

Shopify merchants remain responsible for the information processed through their stores and for providing notices required to their customers, staff, and other users.

4. Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Complete a website contact form.
  • Contact us by email.
  • Submit a support, privacy, legal, or security request.
  • Subscribe to product communications.
  • Participate in product testing, interviews, surveys, or feedback.
  • Communicate with us regarding a Sileasy App.

This information may include:

  • Your name.
  • Business email address.
  • Company or store name.
  • Shopify store domain.
  • Job title or business role.
  • Support request details.
  • Screenshots or files you voluntarily provide.
  • Information included in your message.
  • Communication and newsletter preferences.

Please do not send sensitive credentials.

Do not send passwords, Shopify access tokens, session tokens, database credentials, payment-card information, government identification numbers, health information, customer personal information, or other sensitive information unless Sileasy specifically requests it through an appropriate secure process.

5. Information Received From Shopify

When a merchant installs or uses a Sileasy App, Shopify may provide information necessary to authenticate the installation, operate the application, and enforce the merchant’s selected plan.

This information may include:

  • Shopify store domain.
  • Shopify store identifier.
  • Application identifier and internal application handle.
  • Installation, reinstallation, and uninstallation timestamps.
  • Granted application scopes.
  • Shopify session information.
  • Session expiration and token-rotation metadata.
  • Shopify staff or account metadata made available during authentication, such as user ID, name, email address, locale, account-owner status, collaborator status, and email-verification status.
  • Information used to validate signed webhook, App Proxy, or other Shopify platform requests.
  • Store-plan or development-store indicators made available by Shopify.
  • Active App Pricing subscription information.

Sileasy uses this information only as necessary to authenticate users, maintain authorized sessions, protect store boundaries, provide the selected application, and comply with Shopify requirements.

6. Current Sileasy Apps and Application-Specific Information

The exact Shopify information processed depends on the Sileasy App installed by the merchant and the permissions approved during installation.Current application

Sileasy Brands

Sileasy Brands helps merchants organize and publish brand information based on Shopify product vendor values.

Depending on merchant configuration, it may process:

  • Product vendor names.
  • Brand display names.
  • Brand visibility and featured-brand settings.

  • Dates associated with missing or restored vendors.
  • Brand logo references, URLs, dimensions, and alternative text.
  • Vendor, collection, custom, or disabled brand destinations.
  • Brand ordering and publication selection.
  • Directory layout, density, search, and A–Z settings.
  • Theme App Extension and App Proxy configuration.

Sileasy Brands does not change the original vendor values stored in Shopify products.

Brand names, logos, links, and destinations may become publicly visible when a merchant publishes the directory on a storefront.Current application

Sileasy Stock Flow

Sileasy Stock Flow helps merchants manage collection ordering and the visibility of out-of-stock products according to merchant settings.

Depending on merchant configuration, it may process:

  • Product and variant identifiers.
  • Product titles and Shopify product status.
  • Inventory quantities and inventory-tracking state.
  • Continue-selling inventory policies.
  • Inventory availability and related Shopify location identifiers.
  • Collection identifiers, titles, handles, and sort order.
  • Collection membership and product ordering.
  • Publication identifiers and product publication state.
  • Storefront search-visibility state.
  • Application settings for inventory evaluation, sorting, hiding, restoration, and selected publications.
  • Records showing whether a product or visibility state is managed by the application.
  • Automation jobs, publication actions, activity records, and sanitized operational error categories.
  • Subscription entitlement and catalog-size information.

When the merchant explicitly enables or confirms a feature, Sileasy Stock Flow may:

  • Reorder products within selected manual Shopify collections.
  • Remove an out-of-stock product from a selected publication.
  • Restore a product previously removed by the application when inventory returns or when an authorized restoration is requested.
  • Manage storefront search visibility for products safely owned by the application.

Sileasy Stock Flow uses ownership and verification records to avoid restoring or overwriting product visibility controlled by the merchant or another service.

Future Sileasy applications

A future Sileasy application may use this Privacy Policy only when its data practices are accurately described here.

Before launching an application that materially changes the categories of information collected, the purposes of processing, the Shopify permissions requested, or the retention practices described in this policy, Sileasy will update this page or publish an application-specific supplemental notice.

7. Storefront, Theme, and App Proxy Request Information

Some Sileasy Apps may provide storefront functionality through Shopify Theme App Extensions, App Proxy requests, or merchant-configured storefront components.

These requests may involve:

  • The Shopify store domain contained in a signed request.
  • Request path and permitted query parameters.
  • Shopify signature and timestamp information used for request validation.
  • Requested application configuration.
  • Standard network and server metadata, such as IP address, user agent, response status, and request time.

Storefront functionality is designed to return merchant-configured content or application state. The current Sileasy Apps are not designed to identify individual storefront customers through these requests.

8. Synchronization and Automation Information

To operate synchronization, inventory evaluation, collection management, product visibility, and restoration features, a Sileasy App may process and store:

  • Whether a synchronization or automation is active.
  • Start, success, checkpoint, failure, and completion timestamps.
  • Temporary leases, locks, cooldowns, and retry state.
  • Information used to prevent duplicate or concurrent work.
  • Aggregated counts of records evaluated or changed.
  • Sanitized error and attention categories.
  • Whether a merchant enabled or disabled an application feature.
  • Records necessary to verify application ownership before restoring a product or configuration.

Sileasy does not use synchronization or automation to make changes outside the functionality authorized by the merchant and permitted by the application’s Shopify scopes.

9. Subscription and Plan Information

Sileasy Apps may use Shopify App Pricing or another Shopify-provided billing mechanism approved for public applications.

To identify and enforce a merchant’s selected plan, we may process:

  • Current plan handle.
  • Plan display name.
  • Monthly or annual billing period.
  • Trial end date.
  • Current billing-cycle information.
  • Cancellation-at-end-of-cycle status.
  • Pending plan changes.
  • Catalog-size or usage information needed to enforce plan limits.
  • Date and time a subscription was last verified.
  • Temporary cache or grace-period information.
  • Sanitized error categories when Shopify’s subscription service is temporarily unavailable.

Subscription status is verified through Shopify. Sileasy does not receive or store the merchant’s complete payment-card number or Shopify billing credentials.

Plan names, prices, trials, renewal conditions, and feature limits are described in the relevant application listing, Shopify-hosted pricing page, and Sileasy Terms of Service.

10. Technical and Security Information

When you access our website or a Sileasy App, we and our infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information such as:

  • IP address.
  • Browser type and version.
  • Device and operating-system information.
  • Request date and time.
  • Requested route.
  • Response status.
  • Authentication and security events.
  • Application event category.
  • Sanitized error category.
  • Performance and availability information.
  • Webhook topic and validation result.
  • Application, scheduler, and database health information.

We use technical information to:

  • Operate and maintain the Services.
  • Diagnose errors.
  • Prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
  • Detect abuse.
  • Maintain availability and reliability.
  • Investigate security incidents.
  • Support merchants.

We do not intentionally include Shopify access tokens, session tokens, database connection strings, payment information, passwords, or complete sensitive webhook payloads in application logs.

11. Shopify Customer and Order Information

As of the Last Updated date, Sileasy Brands and Sileasy Stock Flow are not designed to access Shopify customer or order records.

The current applications do not intentionally collect or store:

  • Store customer names.
  • Store customer email addresses.
  • Store customer phone numbers.
  • Customer shipping or billing addresses.
  • Customer orders.
  • Payment information.
  • Customer account passwords.
  • Customer marketing profiles.

Because the current applications do not request customer or order scopes, Shopify customer-data requests and customer-redaction requests will generally identify no customer records held by Sileasy.

If a future Sileasy App requires access to protected customer or order data, this Privacy Policy and the relevant app listing will be updated before that access is used.

12. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Install, authenticate, and operate Sileasy Apps.
  • Maintain authorized Shopify sessions.
  • Enforce store-level tenant isolation.
  • Provide the functionality selected by a merchant.
  • Detect, synchronize, display, order, hide, restore, or otherwise manage supported Shopify resources.
  • Store merchant application configuration.
  • Verify subscription and trial status through Shopify.
  • Apply plan limits and capabilities.
  • Prevent duplicate synchronization and conflicting work.
  • Verify application ownership before restoration.

  • Monitor availability and performance.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Maintain legally required business records.
  • Comply with Shopify requirements and applicable law.

We do not use merchant information to make unrelated changes to a Shopify store or to access data outside the permissions granted to the installed application.

In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the Services, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy obligations.

Current core infrastructure providers may include Shopify, Render, Neon, and the providers used to operate our website and business email.

15. No Sale or Targeted-Advertising Sharing

Sileasy does not sell personal information.

Sileasy does not rent merchant information.

Sileasy does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising under its current practices.

We do not receive money in exchange for transferring personal information to data brokers.

If these practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any controls required by applicable law will be provided.

16. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security, restoring app-managed resources, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

While an app is installed

We retain authorized sessions, installation status, merchant configuration, synchronization state, application settings, subscription information, and operational records needed to provide the installed Sileasy App.

Sileasy Brands

Brand records, logos, destinations, directory settings, synchronization state, and publication configuration may be retained while the application is installed and for a limited period during the uninstall and redaction lifecycle.

Sileasy Stock Flow

Activity and audit information presented in Sileasy Stock Flow is available for up to 90 days.

Audit records and terminal webhook-delivery records older than the applicable retention period may be deleted automatically.

Certain operational records may be retained for longer while the app is installed when they are necessary to:

  • Prove app ownership of a publication or search-visibility change.
  • Restore a product safely.
  • Prevent duplicate or repeated Shopify mutations.
  • Verify previously submitted work.
  • Maintain store settings and entitlements.
  • Investigate security or operational incidents.

When an app is uninstalled

When Shopify notifies us that a Sileasy App was uninstalled:

  • Active Shopify application sessions are deleted or invalidated.
  • The installation is marked as uninstalled.
  • New commercial application actions are blocked.
  • Operational subscription or entitlement information may be invalidated.
  • Merchant configuration may be retained temporarily during Shopify’s uninstall and redaction lifecycle.

Temporary retention supports security, legitimate business needs, investigation of incomplete operations, safe reinstall behavior, and compliance with Shopify’s verified redaction process.

Shop redaction

When we receive and validate Shopify’s shop-redaction request, we delete merchant-scoped application data associated with that store, including as applicable:

  • Shopify sessions.
  • Installation records.
  • Brand and directory configuration.
  • Stock Flow settings and managed collection configuration.
  • Product automation and ownership state.
  • Publication-action records.
  • Automation jobs.
  • Activity and audit events.
  • Webhook-delivery records.
  • Subscription and entitlement snapshots.

We process verified redaction requests promptly and within the period required by Shopify and applicable law, unless specific information must be retained to comply with a legal obligation.

Support and business communications

Support, privacy, legal, security, and business communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain records, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations.

Technical logs

Technical and security logs are retained for limited periods determined by operational, security, troubleshooting, and infrastructure needs.

Backups

Where backup copies are maintained, deleted information may remain in isolated backups until the applicable backup-rotation period expires. Backups are not used for ordinary business operations and are restored only when reasonably necessary for disaster recovery, security, or legal requirements.

17. Shopify Privacy Webhooks

Sileasy Apps distributed through the Shopify App Store subscribe to Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhook topics:

  • customers/data_request
  • customers/redact
  • shop/redact

We authenticate these requests using Shopify’s required verification mechanisms.

Invalid or unauthenticated requests are rejected. Verified requests are processed according to Shopify requirements and applicable law.

Because the current Sileasy Apps do not request customer or order scopes, customer data-access or customer-deletion requests will generally identify no customer records held by Sileasy.

Merchants and store customers may also contact privacy@sileasy.com .

18. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to:

  • Operate website functionality.
  • Maintain security.
  • Remember basic preferences.
  • Prevent abuse.
  • Understand technical performance.

If we enable non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing technologies, we will provide any notice and consent controls required by applicable law.

Sileasy embedded applications use Shopify’s platform authentication and session mechanisms. Cookies and technologies controlled by Shopify are governed by Shopify’s terms and privacy notices.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies or storage may affect website or Shopify functionality.

19. Marketing Communications

We may send product announcements or marketing communications only when permitted by law and, where required, with your consent.

You can unsubscribe using the instructions in the communication or by contacting privacy@sileasy.com .

Operational, billing, privacy, security, and support communications are not marketing and may still be sent when necessary to provide the Services.

20. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

These measures may include:

  • Shopify-managed authentication.
  • Session-token validation.
  • Signed webhook and App Proxy verification.
  • Store-level tenant isolation.
  • Restricted access to production systems.
  • Encryption in transit.
  • Managed hosting and database infrastructure.
  • Logging controls and secret redaction.
  • Database constraints and transaction controls.
  • Application ownership and restoration safeguards.
  • Job leases, deduplication, and concurrency controls.
  • Health checks and deployment rollback procedures.
  • Automated testing and validation.

No internet transmission, application, cloud service, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If a security incident occurs, we will investigate and take actions required by applicable law and contractual obligations.

Security concerns may be reported to security@sileasy.com .

21. International Data Transfers

SILEASY LLC is established in the United States.

Our service providers may process information in the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions where they operate. These jurisdictions may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards, which may include:

  • Adequacy decisions.
  • Contractual data-protection clauses.
  • Provider transfer mechanisms.
  • Other safeguards recognized by applicable law.

Contact privacy@sileasy.com for additional information about relevant transfer safeguards.

22. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Request information about how your personal information is processed.
  • Request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Request restriction of processing.
  • Object to certain processing.

  • Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of certain sales or targeted-advertising sharing, where applicable.
  • Appeal or complain about how a privacy request was handled.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent privacy or data-protection authority.

These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.

To submit a request, contact privacy@sileasy.com .

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect information from unauthorized disclosure.

23. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Where a merchant submits a request concerning store-controlled information, we may direct the request to the merchant or cooperate with the merchant as appropriate.

24. United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain United States jurisdictions may have rights concerning personal information, subject to the scope and applicability of the relevant law.

These rights may include:

  • The right to know or access.
  • The right to correct.
  • The right to delete.
  • The right to obtain a portable copy.

Sileasy does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Requests can be submitted to privacy@sileasy.com .

25. Shopify Merchants, Staff, and Store Customers

Merchants and staff

Shopify merchants and authorized staff may contact us directly concerning information processed through a Sileasy App.

Store customers

A store customer should normally direct privacy requests to the Shopify merchant that operates the store.

Shopify may send a verified privacy webhook to Sileasy when action by an installed application is required.

Because the current Sileasy Apps do not request customer or order scopes, we generally do not hold customer records associated with those requests.

26. Sensitive Personal Information

Sileasy Apps are not intended to collect sensitive personal information.

Do not submit sensitive information through:

  • Brand names.
  • Logo metadata.
  • Product or collection titles.
  • URLs or merchant-configured destinations.
  • Directory headings.
  • Support requests.
  • Website forms.

Sensitive information may include:

  • Payment-card information.
  • Government identification numbers.
  • Health information.
  • Biometric information.
  • Precise personal location information.
  • Customer passwords.
  • Authentication secrets.
  • Information revealing highly sensitive personal characteristics.

If sensitive information is submitted unnecessarily, we may delete, redact, or restrict it.

27. Automated Decision-Making

Sileasy does not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

A Sileasy App may automatically perform catalog, inventory, synchronization, collection-ordering, or product-visibility actions according to merchant-selected settings and Shopify store data.

These are merchant-controlled product functions and are not assessments of an individual’s personal characteristics.

Sileasy may also apply feature availability or catalog limits based on subscription information verified through Shopify. This is a contractual product-access function, not personal profiling.

28. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and Shopify merchants. They are not directed to children under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Sileasy Apps.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact privacy@sileasy.com .

29. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website, documentation, applications, or merchant-configured storefront content may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their privacy, security, content, or practices.

You should review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.
